Zions Mercantile is an old Nauvoo general store with special meeting areas, hotel rooms, programs, and food pricing for small to large groups. Located just across the street from the Nauvoo Temple the Zions Mercantile can be an ideal setting for any group activity. Here are several key benefits you can get from working with Zions Mercantile when your group comes to Nauvoo:

Nauvoo Welcome Greeting & Free Gift:

The FREE welcome Greeting which, includes a free gift, is held on the outside deck or courtyard of the Zions Mercantile overlooking the Nauvoo Temple. The greeting can accommodate any sized group from 5 to 200 people. With stunning views that literally overlook the beautiful Nauvoo Temple as a backdrop; the short 5-10 minute greeting includes a brief fascinating history of the area where your group is seated. At the end of the presentation, each member of your group is invited to take home an original piece of carved stone from the old Nauvoo Temple. There is no obligation to buy anything or make any commitment. It is a free service for any group that calls ahead and schedules a time. (they need to know in advance how many Temple stones to have ready) After the welcome message groups are free to stay and use the area for their own private fireside or meeting.
